Mission of the JV/Freshmen Program: |
|
This
program is geared to augment the varsity programs. Player
development is the primary goal of these programs. Athletes
should be given a chance to play and improve their skills.
While Seneca Valley does not expect to see equal playing
time, everyone should have an opportunity to compete. Close
communication between the varsity head coach and the JV
coach is important and expected. Coaches should be using
similar principles and strategies so that the transition
from the JV to varsity is seamless. |

JV Comeback to Tie Mt Lebo 8-8
April 1, 2010:
After a 5-2 halftime deficit, the Raider JV strengthened in
the second half. Hard hitting and strong defense and
offense allowed the Raiders to win the second half and end
the game in an 8-8 tie. Great job by all of the
players and coaches.

High School Individual and Team Picture
Information
Individual
and team pictures are tomorrow (Thursday) evening for
Varsity, JV and Freshmen players.
-
Seniors should report to the field house adjacent to the
field no later than 5:00 p.m.
-
JV and
Freshmen should report to the same location no later
than 5:15 p.m.
-
Players should arrive dressed in their WHITE uniforms
and should bring their practice clothes.

High School Banquet Information
The High
School Banquet is scheduled for Sunday, June 6th at 6PM.
The banquet will be held at the Marriot-Cranberry Woods.
