The Pumpkin Classic began ten years ago in order to provide a 10 v 10 full field fall lacrosse experience. Last years Pumpkin Classic had sixteen (16) of Western Pennsylvania's finest lacrosse programs competing in this one day event.

• Lacrosse Vendors and fantastic concessions

• First games will begin at 9:00 AM
• Games will consist of two 20 minute halves with running clock. Braveheart format for all games ending in a tie. (See rules to the right)
• Each Team can bring as many as 22 players and 3 coaches
• Championship game begins approximately at 4:30 PM
• All games will be played on the Seneca Valley High School Campus
• There will be a separate JV bracket as well

The SVLA 10th annual tournament, The Pumpkin Classic, is being held Sunday October 14th, and we are in need of your support. Nineteen teams will be playing 38+ games throughout the day and we are looking for volunteers to assit with this event.

Ball Boys Needed
We are in need of ball boys to work the end lines of each field/game. We are asking players to work a 2 hour shift (2 games back to back). Players must wear their helmet and bring their stick. All ball boys will receive a Pumpkin Classic t-shirt in appreciation of their participation. If your son is available to assist email: Adam Alexander at aalexander@masteryworks.com

Parent Volunteers Needed
On tournament day we will need many volunteers to work 1 and 2 hour shifts in the following areas:

• Concession stand workers - work a 2 hour shift. Shifts run from 8-10, 10-12, 12-2, 2-4, 4-Close. 6 to 10 people needed per shift.
• Game time keepers - Work a 2 hour shift - 4 volunteers needed for the day.
• Game managers - One volunteer per game. Responsible for keeping penalty time, game score and reporting results. Five volunteers needed per hour between the hours of 9-4.

The game managers and time keepers jobs are not difficult and you need no significant lacrosse knowledge to perform these jobs. So please don't hesitate to volunteer for one of these jobs. Instructions will be provided to all the day of the tournament.

If you are already traveling to the HS to bring your son for his Ball Boy shift, please consider spending the 2 hours volunteering to support one of SVLA's largest fundraisers.

The Seneca Valley Lacrosse Association will hold our annual fall Lacrosse tournament called the Pumpkin Classic on October 14, 2012. Every year we design a t-shirt specifically for this event. We are looking for someone to design this year's tournament T-Shirt. Do you have any great ideas?

The SVLA Board of Directors will review all submissions and select a winner. The winner in addition to having their design printed on hundreds of t-shirts will receive a $50.00 gift certificate towards SV Lacrosse apparel. All designs must be received by 9/21/2012.
