SVLA is proud to provide a Learn to Play program to first time players to introduce the exciting sport of lacrosse. All ages (K- 8th grade) with little or no previous lacrosse experience are invited to participate. Players will be grouped according to age.

The Learn to Play (LTP) practices will focus on teaching essential lacrosse skills such as passing, catching, dodging, shooting and ground balls to give these players a jump start on the spring season should they continue to take interest in this fast-growing sport.

Since we will be using softer lacrosse balls and/or tennis balls for training, the only required equipment is a lacrosse stick, mouth guard, and cleats. All practices will be held at Lindner Field, Cranberry Park (next to the dog park).

• Sundays, 4:30-5:30pm

• Registration and Fees are due by 9/6/2024 or by the player’s first attended practice
• Payments can be made online during registration (this is preferred) or sent via check to SVLA PO BOX 1703, Cranberry Twp., PA 16066

Sessions will be coached by the SV Varsity Boys Lacrosse Team. Proceeds from The Learn to Play registrations will be supporting the team this year.  This will give them additional playing opportunities throughout the year.  Thank you for your support.
