What Are Subcommittees?

Subcommittees are small, focused groups formed under the direction of the SVLA Board to help manage specific areas of our lacrosse program. While the Board sets the overall strategy and direction for the organization, subcommittees play a critical role in executing initiatives, managing day-to-day needs, and supporting growth.

They are made up of board members, volunteers, and sometimes parents or coaches — all working together to ensure that SVLA runs efficiently and delivers a high-quality experience for our players and families.

Why They Matter

• Delegate responsibilities so no single person is overwhelmed
• Bring in specialized help for specific focus areas
• Engage more members of the community in meaningful ways
• Keep our organization agile as we grow each season
